Journey to Kenya: United in Mission and Faith

We, the Grace Mission Team of 2025 were blessed with smooth travel to Paris, France. There we were joined by three members from Promise Lutheran Church, located in New Haven, Indiana.  It was a joyful meeting filled with anticipation, prayer, and excitement for the days ahead. The twelve of us are united in purpose and faith to share God’s love and encouragement with the students and staff of the school. We were then further blessed with a smooth eight-hour flight to Nairobi, Kenya.

After spending the night in Nairobi, we began an eight-hour bus journey through Kenya toward Ogal Beach on the shore of Lake Victoria. Along the way, we enjoyed the beauty of the countryside, the rhythm of local life, and the vibrant culture that makes Kenya so special.

By the time we reached Point of Grace Academy, we had already grown close — united not only by our shared mission but also by the powerful sense of God’s presence guiding every step.
