…not a creature was stirring, not even Doug, my spouse. The suitcases are placed by the back door with care, in hopes that our mission soon will be here.
Our cat is curled up all snug on the bed, while visions of airports dance in my head. With I in my jammies and Doug fast asleep, I write down my thoughts without making a peep.
The moon shining down on the freshly cut lawn below, makes me think of the mission team, and all the places we’ll go. Then what to my wondering thoughts does appear, the unease of upcoming travel with our future unclear.
Ok, Michelle, focus, take a deep breath and calm down! We’ve practiced, we’ve prepped – we’re all set to leave town. From Boston to Kisumu and each stop between, God is with us, he will lead us, his grace will be seen.
These words, they give comfort as I speak them out loud. They will guide us as we make our way through the crowd. A smile then appears on my tired face, because after months of work and preparation, we will FINALLY say…
WHICH WAY TO POINT OF GRACE?!
