VBS Day 3

The theme for VBS Day 3 was “I am the Resurrection”

In today’s skit, Sara questioned what it was that makes a person truly happy. Rachel, who played a sickly woman, believes that good health would make her happy. Doug, played a man who thought he would be happy if he was smarter. Michelle played a woman who thought more money would make her the happiest. Pastor Stecker wrapped up the play by stating that resurrection of the body and soul is the greatest gift and source of happiness.

The crafts today, which all the kids enjoyed, were cross necklaces and then a cross made of individual crosses that the kids decorated.

Once again, after lunch, the team continues with painting, Doug and Dan worked with the maintenance crew to repair some concrete and tiled steps, and Michelle went to a kindergarten classroom to discuss the first 2 special education students attending Point of Grace with their teacher.

Everyone on the team is tired after 3 days of vacation Bible school for so many children and then projects, and most of us went to bed early. Above and beyond that, however, is how grateful we are to be here, and what an honor it is to serve this community.
